It’s a new year for Charity Akita, and we were happy to welcome a new cohort of JET participants at the orientation at the Education Center with a sushi dinner.

For everyone new to Charity Akita, we are a non-profit organization who creates events and other volunteer opportunities with the primary purpose of raising money for charity. All are welcome, including JET alumni, non-JETs, international students, ex-pats, and Akitans alike!
