We’re excited to announce our first beach clean-up event for the year!
Much of the pollution is not only from Japan but a large amount that drifts from other countries and ends up on the beach. Let’s help keep Akita beautiful!
It will be in Yurihonjo at the Iwaki Shimashigyoko Park Rest Area (just minutes south of Akita city). You can either drive and park your car here or take the JR train to the Iwaki Minato Station.
We will start at about 11AM and officially be finished at 2PM though we can stay as long as we like!
Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes, gloves, or sandals along with water (reusable bottles if possible!). We will have some extra snacks, gloves, and water bottles as well!
There is a chance of rain on the 28th, we will keep advised if it will be postponed.
