All of us from Charity Akita hope you are doing well, staying healthy, and enjoying the change of seasons. In lieu of a Halloween party this year, we have decided to host an online Halloween Costume Contest!! During the month of October, we want you to submit pictures of your Halloween costumes.
Contest Prizes:
First place will receive an Amazon JP gift card of ¥2,500. Second place will receive a AEON gift card of ¥2,000. Third place will receive a Starbucks gift card of ¥1,500. The winners will be announced on November 1st.
How To:
Simply submit a picture of your costume to the Charity Akita team at charityakita@gmail.com or via SNS on Instagram or Facebook. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. on October 31st. Pair and group costumes as a single submission are welcome. You can submit a short video of your costume in case it has moving parts, a large design, etc.
Guidelines:
- Keep your costumes work safe.
- Use prop blood (and guts) in a reasonable amount. Nothing that would need a mop and bucket!
- Please refrain from violent depictions of celebrities or politicians.
- And, as a note, be mindful if you choose a cultural costume. Please avoid face or body paint along with it.
